poem || Jeff Harrison

I'll Pet All The Land

the 2 big bags rattled into prairie places
are beyond imaginary, sky's muchly a monitor
the 2 big bags full of pieces of the
palace of the bees are full of honey
wow, wow, say home sweet home
poison in a part of the palace of the bees
so the honey can't be eaten, frown, frown
the roof is full of poison and cut with bad sound
I don't think the bees are bluffing
they seem, on second glance, to be fire
they dance, I feel then nervous
the words in Bee-ish may be part of the trance
PUM a monkey kiss, and PUM a tiger kiss
I forget the words I want to say the bee kiss trance
